Description

  • Design modular engineering tasks, specifications, and acceptance criteria for engineers and AI coding agents.
  • Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines that use AI agents for code generation, testing, and code review with quality gates and human approvals.
  • Create and refine prompts, agent instructions, reusable skills, MCP tools, and repository context to improve AI-agent output.
  • Build LLM-powered workflows, retrieval-augmented compliance content experiences, and agents that take action within products.
  • Review human- and AI-generated code for quality, security, scalability, and domain alignment.
  • Provide architectural oversight to ensure modular, maintainable designs and bounded contexts.
  • Maintain domain models, technical documentation, and internal knowledge bases.
  • Write secure code, validate data, and protect APIs and sessions against OWASP and LLM-related vulnerabilities.
  • Participate in on-call operations and remediate production incidents and AI-feature degradations.
  • Mentor teammates and support responsible, effective use of AI agents across the engineering team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; engineering, data science, computer science, or information systems background preferred.
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience developing SaaS applications.
  • Hands-on experience with Python, React, and AWS, including Lambda and DynamoDB.
  • Experience with LLM application patterns including prompt design, embeddings, vector search/RAG, tool or function calling, structured outputs, and agent orchestration.
  • Experience using AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Devin, or Codex as a core development workflow component.
  • Experience integrating AI agents into CI/CD pipelines with automated quality gates.
  • Ability to design evaluation and testing strategies for non-deterministic AI systems and determine when AI is appropriate.
  • Strong system design, API security, automated testing, and multi-tenant SaaS architecture fundamentals.
  • Clear written communication for actionable specifications and technical documentation.
  • Experience with Amazon Bedrock, Anthropic, OpenAI, agent frameworks, MCP servers, or AI-agent tool integrations (preferred).
  • Experience shipping and supporting AI/LLM-powered SaaS features, including monitoring and iteration (preferred).
  • Experience in regulated domains, privacy and security standards such as SOC 2, GDPR, or CCPA, AI governance practices, or spec-driven development (preferred).
