Description

  • Lead an AI-first engineering approach by using AI-assisted development tools to improve team productivity.
  • Architect and implement prompt engineering best practices for the engineering team.
  • Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure product features across the SaaS suite.
  • Lead complex full-stack development efforts, including system architecture, back-end APIs, and data layers.
  • Set standards for code quality, security, performance, and engineering excellence.
  • Design and implement testing strategies, including manual and AI-assisted testing.
  • Conduct in-depth code reviews and mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
  • Evaluate and adopt new tools and practices to improve team efficiency and capabilities.
  • Contribute to the technical roadmap and influence the future direction of the engineering organization.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional software development experience building and maintaining scalable, production-grade applications.
  • Deep expertise in modern backend or full-stack technologies such as Python, Go, Java, Node.js, or React.
  • Demonstrated experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Devin AI, or GPT APIs.
  • Extensive experience with AI tools and LLMs, including LangChain or direct OpenAI API usage.
  • Strong commitment to code quality, security, and performance.
  • Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing strategies.
  • Proven technical leadership experience, including mentoring developers and leading complex projects from concept to delivery.
  • Excellent English communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Preferred: experience collaborating with U.S.-based stakeholders.
  • Preferred: knowledge of HR, Legal, or Risk industries.
  • Preferred: portfolio or open-source contributions demonstrating AI or software engineering expertise.
  • Must reside in Mexico and be either a Mexican citizen or permanent resident.
