Description

Own the end-to-end design process for medium-to-large enterprise product initiatives, including discovery, workflow definition, interaction design, high-fidelity visual design, and prototyping.
Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers in an agile environment to create accessible, performant, and elegant interfaces.
Produce user flows, interaction models, prototypes, interface comps, visual specs, and supporting documentation across multiple products.
Take ownership of the user experience for assigned product areas and advocate for user needs in design decisions.
Apply design systems, interaction patterns, accessibility standards, responsive layout principles, and front-end constraints to improve usability and implementation quality.
Independently investigate complex problems, validate solutions with stakeholders, and turn ambiguous challenges into actionable design direction.
Influence product strategy by framing user problems, communicating trade-offs, and presenting design recommendations.
Build interactive prototypes and implementation-ready workflows using tools such as Figma Make, Bolt, and Cursor.
Improve and extend the design system to support consistency, scalability, and efficient development across teams.
Mentor other designers through critique, coaching, and knowledge-sharing.

Requirements

5–8 years of UX/Product Design experience, preferably in enterprise SaaS environments.
Strong portfolio demonstrating design for complex systems and user-centered problem solving.
Expert understanding of UX processes, interaction design fundamentals, and end-to-end design workflows.
Hands-on experience conducting user research and applying findings to product decisions; familiarity with AI-assisted research synthesis is a plus.
Mastery of design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Framer, Adobe XD, Illustrator, or Photoshop, including AI features within these tools.
Deep experience with design systems, including contributing at scale.
Strong communication and storytelling skills with the ability to present design rationale to technical and non-technical audiences.
Proven ability to work autonomously, manage multiple workstreams, and drive outcomes with cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern component libraries such as React or web components.
Experience collaborating with and influencing US-based teams.
Comfort using AI tools to accelerate ideation, prototyping, documentation, or research workflows.
Bachelor’s degree in design or a related field preferred.
Portfolio required, showcasing visual design, interaction design, and user-centered problem-solving work.
Must reside in Canada; applications from candidates outside Canada will not be considered.
