Description

  • Define and drive the North Star vision for Miro Prototyping.
  • Lead the long-term design strategy for the Prototyping experience.
  • Explore how generative AI can shorten the path from rough sketch to fully functioning app.
  • Navigate ambiguity and build lean experiments with an entrepreneurial, high-ownership mindset.
  • Create a best-in-class experience informed by the design tool landscape while preserving Miro’s ease of use.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to solve AI quality, discoverability, and mode-transition challenges.
  • Set the bar for design excellence by mentoring other designers.
  • Contribute to the evolution of design systems and internal tooling.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of product design experience, ideally in B2B SaaS or AI-focused roles.
  • 2-3 years of experience operating at a Staff or Principal level with ownership of complex initiatives.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating clear, user-focused product and strategy work with measurable user and business impact.
  • Deep understanding of AI and AI design tooling.
  • Proven experience working closely with cross-functional teams including product management, UX design, and engineering.
  • Deep understanding of UX practices, information architecture, and user-centred design methodologies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive, flexible approach with the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience working on design tools, editors, or creative software is a strong plus.
