Description

  • Design original optics problems that simulate real physics research workflows.
  • Create computationally intensive problems that cannot be solved manually within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Develop problems that require multi-step reasoning in mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, and quantum mechanics.
  • Base problems on real research challenges or practical applications from optics and physics practice.
  • Document problem statements clearly and provide verified correct answers.
  • Contribute to testing, evaluating, and improving AI systems through project-based tasks.
  • Complete assigned tasks during active project phases, typically estimated at 10–20 hours per week.

Requirements

  • Degree in Physics (Theoretical, Experimental, or Computational) or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience; applied, research, or teaching experience is accepted.
  • Experience with numerical simulation methods.
  • Ability to design problems that mirror real physics research workflows.
  • Creative thinking in problem design across diverse physics areas.
  • Familiarity with physics modeling and approximation techniques.
  • Strong written English at C1 level or higher.
  • Willingness to work on part-time, non-permanent, project-based assignments.
  • Submit a CV in English and indicate English proficiency.
  • Open to qualification steps before joining a project.
