Description

  • Build fluid, responsive user interfaces for multiple platforms and devices.
  • Develop performant, resilient and secure backend services, functions and components.
  • Design and implement asynchronous and event-driven workflows.
  • Write testable code and prioritize automated testing and code quality.
  • Own the full lifecycle of code from local development to production deployment (including container-based workflows).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems and deliver features to world-class standards.
  • Use and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., CDK/Serverless) for reliable deployments.
  • Follow and contribute to service-oriented architectures, design patterns and data modeling decisions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Experience with Vanilla JavaScript and/or TypeScript and modern frameworks such as React.
  • Experience building backends with Node.js (NestJS is a plus).
  • Experience using AWS, CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., CDK/Serverless).
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL data stores.
  • Good knowledge of protocols and architectural patterns like HTTP, REST and/or GraphQL.
  • Familiarity with service-oriented architectures, design patterns and data structures.
  • Working experience with Git in a continuous delivery process.
  • Ability to use code quality tools such as linters, type checkers and static analysers.
  • Comfortable with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and fluent in English.
  • Willingness to travel intermittently (estimated 0–15%) and interest or knowledge in container technologies (nice to have).
