Description

  • Contribute early to the development of scalable, secure, and maintainable software.
  • Participate in technical decision-making, trade-offs, and problem-solving.
  • Work closely with product owners to ensure solutions meet business needs.
  • Help shape strategic planning for tooling, technology choices, and platform direction.
  • Perform technical reviews and provide input on system design, integration, and performance.
  • Advocate for engineering best practices, including clean code, testing, observability, and performance.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and propose relevant improvements.
  • Work hands-on with a cross-functional team to deliver high-quality digital products from concept to deployment.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Strong background in full-stack or frontend/backend systems.
  • Experience with modern frontend ecosystems such as React, Vue, or Next.js, and/or backend stacks such as Node.js.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and performance monitoring tools.
  • Strong coding ability in at least one major language or framework such as JavaScript, TypeScript, or Node.js.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to break down complex challenges.
  • Strong communication skills and good English, with the ability to translate technical detail into clear plans and decisions.
  • Experience working in collaborative product and delivery teams.
  • Experience working with open source software (nice to have).
  • Experience mentoring other engineers and fostering growth and shared standards (nice to have).
  • Previous experience in eCommerce, retail, or a large-scale customer-facing platform (nice to have).
