Description

  • Develop native Android features and experiences for an e-commerce application.
  • Collaborate closely with team members and clients to ensure technical feasibility and feature ownership.
  • Work within Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
  • Implement modern mobile UX patterns and fluid visual interactions.
  • Design and maintain software architecture using MVVM or similar patterns.
  • Build and support Android components such as ViewModel, LiveData, and Room.
  • Write and maintain unit tests and UI tests, with a TDD mindset valued.
  • Optimize performance, observability, and metrics to improve code quality.
  • Mentor junior engineers and help foster continuous learning within the team.
  • Contribute to a positive, self-organized, politics-free team environment.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Kotlin; Kotlin Multiplatform is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Jetpack Compose; Compose Multiplatform is a plus.
  • Deep knowledge of Coroutines and/or RxJava.
  • Solid understanding of Android software architecture, such as MVVM.
  • Experience with Android Architecture Components including ViewModel, LiveData, and Room.
  • Experience with unit testing and UI testing; test-driven development is highly valued.
  • Knowledge of performance optimization, observability, and metrics.
  • Familiarity with service-oriented architectures, design patterns, and robust data structures.
  • Strong English proficiency and clear communication skills.
  • Approachable, self-driven, and comfortable working with little supervision.
  • Experience collaborating directly with clients is expected.
  • National and international travel may be required at an estimated 0%–15% depending on project and organizational needs.
