Description

  • Own the full backend lifecycle by designing, developing, testing, monitoring, and maintaining backend services for the casino platform.
  • Build clean, efficient, and well-documented APIs for web and mobile applications.
  • Write high-quality, maintainable code with a focus on reliability, scalability, and performance.
  • Participate in code reviews and help maintain codebase quality and consistency.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and broader technical strategy.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and external vendors to integrate third-party systems.
  • Deliver features and improvements in a continuous deployment environment.
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of backend engineering experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, or another backend language with willingness to learn Python.
  • Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs.
  • Solid understanding of databases such as PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with cloud platforms; AWS is preferred, but GCP or Azure are acceptable.
  • Strong computer science fundamentals.
  • Experience working in agile or fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bonus points for experience with the core tech stack, including Flask, Docker, Terraform, Pytest, Mypy, SQS, S3, or PostgreSQL.
  • Prior experience in gaming, betting, or fintech is preferred.
  • Experience building and operating high-volume, low-latency systems is valued.
  • Solid DevOps knowledge and hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines are valued.
