Description

  • Lead and develop the Product Design team, including line management of five designers.
  • Define and maintain the quality bar across customer-facing native and web products as well as back-office platforms.
  • Ensure coherence across squads and journeys so the product feels like one joined-up system.
  • Shape the long-term experience direction and codify design principles for the wider company.
  • Mature and drive adoption of the design system to improve speed and consistency at scale.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering leadership on strategy, early problem framing, and complex trade-offs.
  • Contribute hands-on to the most complex and high-impact initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Brand, Creative, Growth, CRM, and Games to create a cohesive end-to-end customer experience.
  • Explore and integrate emerging technologies, including AI, where they improve design and delivery.
  • Strengthen the structures and standards needed to scale experience quality as the business grows.

Requirements

  • Exceptional visual and interaction design taste with strong product instincts.
  • Experience operating at scale and shaping design direction across multiple teams and surfaces.
  • Experience building or maturing design systems that improve consistency and speed without sacrificing quality.
  • Hands-on craft capability and comfort contributing directly to high-stakes initiatives.
  • Experience as a strategic partner to Product and Engineering leaders on roadmap direction and key decisions.
  • Experience developing designers through feedback, coaching, and hiring.
  • Clear and practical communication skills with the ability to influence across disciplines and seniority levels.
  • Curiosity about emerging technologies, including AI, and where they can add real value.
  • Deep care for well-designed digital products, including simplifying complex systems and refining interaction, motion, and hierarchy.
