Description

  • Draft fundraising copy for texting campaigns and donor outreach.
  • Build and QA text campaigns before launch.
  • Maintain reporting databases and track campaign data.
  • Analyze performance data to evaluate and improve texting programs.
  • Pitch creative messaging ideas to the texting team.
  • Assist with administrative tasks and other team responsibilities.
  • Learn how texting programs are built, tested, and optimized to support donor relationships and fundraising.

Requirements

  • Must be a senior, in the final year of an undergraduate program, or a recent graduate.
  • Strong writing skills with excellent grammar and self-proofreading ability.
  • Interest in testing creative messaging and analyzing performance data.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and technically adept with the ability to learn new tools quickly.
  • Must follow politics and stay current on the news.
  • Must be committed to working for progressive political candidates and causes.
  • Must be a team player with a solid understanding of the U.S. political system and key progressive issues.
  • Must be based in the United States.
  • Must be available full-time (40 hours per week) or near full-time.
  • Preferred experience with digital fundraising or political communications.
  • Preferred experience with a political campaign, advocacy organization, or nonprofit.
  • Preferred experience with spreadsheets, reporting, or data tracking.
  • Preferred familiarity with texting or CRM tools.
  • Preferred to have a strong creative voice as a writer.
