Description

  • Work as part of a collaborative, high-performing team delivering technical solutions for the highest levels of the federal government.
  • Design and operate Kubernetes and container platforms supporting mission-critical workloads.
  • Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
  • Ensure platform scalability, reliability, performance, and security.
  • Participate in Agile execution, planning, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in complex environments.
  • Communicate platform status, risks, and technical decisions clearly to stakeholders.
  • Build customer trust through technical expertise, professionalism, and sound engineering judgment.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of complex integrated container platforms.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility required.
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification required.
  • Terraform Associate certification required.
  • DoD 8140 certification aligned to the 451 System Administrator work role required, such as Security+, Cloud+, SSCP, CASP+, or CISSP.
  • 6+ years of experience in systems or DevOps engineering.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container technologies.
  • Experience designing, building, and maintaining Kubernetes or OpenShift container orchestration platforms.
  • Experience ensuring scalability, reliability, and security of containerized environments in enterprise or mission-critical settings.
  • Operational experience managing CI/CD pipelines, container build processes, and infrastructure automation.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes ecosystem tooling such as Rancher, Helm, Docker, Cilium, Rook, Ceph, MinIO, S3, and PortWorx.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline preferred; relevant experience may substitute for education.
  • Ability to contribute immediately with minimal ramp-up in a mission-critical operational environment.
