Description

  • Develop, update, and add features to public-facing federal government web applications by writing high-quality, hardened code.
  • Participate in agile scrum ceremonies and complete user stories during two-week sprints.
  • Collaborate with the scrum team to refine requirements, propose solutions to complex problems, and design implementation approaches.
  • Enhance and maintain both frontend and backend components of the application stack.
  • Implement and manage database-related work for systems using Oracle and PostgreSQL.
  • Build, deploy, and support web applications on cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Use Git-based source control and collaborate through repositories such as GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket.
  • Continuously improve team processes and code quality to increase delivery efficiency and reliability.

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain and maintain DHS Suitability.
  • 3+ years' experience working as a software developer in a web-based application framework.
  • Proven full-stack application development experience with React frontend and Ruby on Rails backend.
  • Experience with database management systems such as Oracle and PostgreSQL.
  • Experience working as part of a collaborative agile scrum team and participating in agile ceremonies.
  • Experience building and deploying web applications on cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Experience with Git-based source code repositories (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete employment eligibility verification upon hire.

  • Salary range $92,000 - $124,000 plus eligibility for performance-based bonuses and additional incentives.
