Description

  • Manage, deliver, and lead cyber security and cyber risk assignments from end to end.
  • Produce documentation, reports, recommendations, and quality assure work produced by team members.
  • Act as a subject matter expert to support teams and lead engagements at scale.
  • Build trusted, pragmatic cyber security advice tailored to client business situations and objectives.
  • Research, articulate, and present complex security and architecture recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Develop security vision, principles, and strategy for projects or technologies.
  • Investigate major security breaches and recommend appropriate control improvements.
  • Contribute to information security policy, standards, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Serve as the escalation point for lower-grade architects and lead technical design for systems and services.
  • Maintain awareness of business and industry trends and assess their impact on cyber risk.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in information security-related roles.
  • 2-3 years of experience in security architecture.
  • Background as an experienced consultant in cyber security.
  • Certification in AWS or Azure for architecture and security, or similar.
  • IASME / Cyber Essentials Plus certified.
  • Knowledge of secure network architecture and technical design.
  • Experience creating secure architecture in AWS and/or Azure.
  • Experience providing strategy, risk, and technical advice on cyber security for live and planned projects.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Must hold, or be able to hold, HMG Security Check (SC) clearance.
  • Ability to create cyber security documents such as risk assessments, ESRM, and DPIA.
  • Preferred: security certification such as ISC2 CISSP, ISC2 CCSP, or ISACA CISM.
  • Preferred: knowledge of evolving digital technologies such as AI, digital twins, and IoT.
  • Preferred: experience working on central government, local government, or public corporation projects.
  • Preferred: knowledge of IT auditing practices and tools.
  • Preferred: familiarity with cloud/virtualisation principles and tools such as Active Directory and SDDC.
