Description

  • Talk with users to understand their goals, challenges, and use cases.
  • Help customers design and optimize their Metabase implementations.
  • Guide customers in connecting data sources, transforming data, and turning questions into executable queries.
  • Solve complex technical problems and troubleshoot customer issues.
  • Collaborate with technical communicators to create educational materials for customers.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer to product and engineering teams.
  • Help drive product development based on customer needs and feedback.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience writing production code, administering systems, and/or managing databases.
  • Strong technical background.
  • Strong database and SQL skills.
  • Expertise in at least two of the following areas: designing and developing web applications; managing infrastructure with Docker, AWS/GCP, or similar tools; managing databases.
  • Enjoy helping people and solving problems.
  • Experience with Metabase or other BI tools is preferred.
  • Experience working on an open source product is preferred.
  • Fluency in multiple languages is helpful for a global user base.
