Description

  • Own and proactively improve GitHub Actions-based CI pipelines.
  • Triage and resolve flaky tests across unit, integration, and end-to-end test suites.
  • Support ongoing releases and improve the release process over time.
  • Act as a first responder for CI infrastructure issues and resolve them independently.
  • Support product engineers using Cypress, Jest, and home-grown Clojure-based test frameworks.
  • Manage test infrastructure across a wide matrix of databases and cloud data warehouses.
  • Document CI health and communicate updates clearly across a globally distributed, async-first team.
  • Identify systemic patterns in test failures and reliability issues before they become outages.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated professional experience working with CI/CD systems.
  • A proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
  • Ability to manage priorities and work effectively without close supervision in a globally distributed team.
  • Solid understanding of GitHub Actions or a comparable CI platform.
  • Experience with JavaScript testing tools, particularly Cypress and/or Jest.
  • Comfort with containerization, especially Docker.
  • Solid shell scripting skills, especially Bash.
  • Experience diagnosing and fixing flaky tests in large test suites.
  • Strong asynchronous written communication skills.
  • Curiosity and a systematic approach to debugging unfamiliar systems.
  • Familiarity with Clojure and TypeScript is preferred.
  • Experience with cloud data warehouses or analytical databases is preferred.
  • Experience building and supporting software release pipelines is preferred.
