Description

  • Own the centralized content strategy across all client-facing cohorts, including Wealth Management and Wealth Solutions.
  • Maintain curriculum architecture that tailors learning tracks to different audience needs and complexity levels.
  • Create scalable advisor playbooks, onboarding frameworks, and field-facing tools.
  • Partner with Relationship Expansion to ensure content is built for field delivery and embedded in advisor cadences.
  • Lead the evolution from generalist support to a specialized enablement team focused on behavioral change and advisor capability building.
  • Serve as the field advocate for new technology, tools, and AI-powered capabilities before and during rollout.
  • Define staffing ratios and build the organizational infrastructure to scale onboarding and enablement during growth and acquisitions.
  • Build and lead a structured Enablement team with dedicated leadership and support across business lines.
  • Use operating rhythms, performance telemetry, and accountability frameworks to measure content effectiveness, adoption, and client impact.
  • Partner across corporate functions, Segment Delivery, Operations, and Technology to align training, accreditation, and product design.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in enablement, learning and development, or field effectiveness roles in wealth management, financial services, or a complex professional services organization.
  • Demonstrated success building or scaling centralized enablement functions from the ground up.
  • Track record of driving measurable advisor or field sales behavioral change and performance improvement.
  • Experience managing and developing teams of content creators, trainers, and program managers, ideally using AI to accelerate output.
  • Familiarity with post-M&A integration environments and the enablement demands they create.
  • CFP certification and/or previous experience directly serving clients is preferred.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to translate business priorities into curriculum design and behavior change programs.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Data-informed approach using telemetry, adoption metrics, and field feedback to improve systems.
  • AI fluency with the ability to use AI tools for content creation, personalization, and scalable enablement, with responsible adoption in mind.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $204,000 to $230,000 USD.
  • Eligible for incentive compensation through Mercer Advisors’ incentive compensation programs.
