Description

  • Deliver hands-on virtual workshops on financial services, daily operations, and the operational systems, tools, and platforms used in daily work.
  • Support onboarding for new hires and contribute to ongoing professional development initiatives.
  • Coach individuals with different learning paces and styles to build skills and support professional growth.
  • Monitor trainee progress and conduct skill assessments for new team members.
  • Develop and maintain training materials, including guides, presentations, and learning units.
  • Provide day-to-day operations support to Wealth Management teams, including money movements, account maintenance requests, case entry and management, and client deposit handling.
  • Ensure client request paperwork and procedures are completed in compliance with Custodian and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain data integrity across systems and update records as needed.
  • Assist team members with complex requests and answer questions using elevated knowledge.
  • Participate in company initiatives, testing, pilot groups, and specialized workflows.
  • Support client onboarding, transfer paperwork, and new account setup when needed, in coordination with Wealth Management, Custodians, and Orion.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
  • 1 to 3 years of job-related experience.
  • Experience in the financial services industry is required.
  • Prior office-based customer service experience is helpful.
  • Experience in a training, teaching, or instruction role is recommended.
  • CFP, Series 65, or SIE certification is a plus.
  • Strong ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, client-focused environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to simplify concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, follow through on details, and build positive internal and external relationships.
  • Strong MS Word, Excel, and Outlook skills are required.
  • Self-motivated, well-organized, and committed to continuous self-learning and professional growth.

  • Base pay range of $30 to $35 USD per hour.
  • Eligible for incentive compensation through Mercer Advisors’ incentive compensation programs.
