Description

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers, fostering collaboration, learning, and accountability.
  • Drive the technical vision in alignment with product goals while working closely with engineering and product teams.
  • Support engineers’ career growth through regular feedback, coaching, and development opportunities.
  • Identify, develop, and implement process improvements to increase team efficiency.
  • Allocate time and resources to reduce technical debt by refactoring and optimizing existing systems.
  • Evaluate new technologies and contribute best practices for software design proposals and strategies.
  • Grow, develop, and retain a high-performing engineering team.
  • Coordinate tasks and set team goals to support strategic business objectives.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a hands-on software engineer with solid technical expertise.
  • Proven track record of managing and scaling software engineering teams, preferably in a product-driven environment.
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to distribute workload effectively.
  • Demonstrated capability to lead, support, and mentor team members.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to align cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience leading and developing a technical team in a transparent and collaborative manner.
  • Experience with coaching engineers to think like product owners and align work to user and business needs.
  • A detail-oriented mindset with strong product awareness.
