Description

  • Conduct user research through surveys, focus groups, and other methods to understand user needs and behaviors.
  • Analyze user and product data to identify patterns and trends that inform design decisions.
  • Design user interfaces using research and data to ensure the experience is both usable and visually strong.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for product designs.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align designs with user and business needs.
  • Test and validate designs through user testing and other validation methods.
  • Continuously monitor, refine, and improve products based on user feedback and usage data.
  • Recommend additional telemetry and data collection to better understand user behavior and support experimentation.
  • Meet project deadlines and contribute to timely delivery of design work.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative design ideas.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience Design, Math, Computer Science, Design, or equivalent related experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as a UI/UX Designer.
  • Strong background in both user research and interface design.
  • Experience working across the full product lifecycle from low-fidelity wireframes to implementation and analytics.
  • Experience working on an agile team in a product-driven organization.
  • Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
  • Understanding of basic front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • Portfolio showcasing previous design work, web design projects, and an understanding of the design process.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Permanent-term contractor role; candidates based in Istanbul city center are preferred.
  • All interviews are conducted in English, and advanced English fluency is required.
  • Experience with UX for web and mobile applications is preferred.
  • Familiarity with data-informed design, user testing, and analytics is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and attention to detail are required.
