Description

  • Support and operate Monks' AI SaaS and PaaS solutions as an integral member of the DevOps platform team.
  • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple ecosystems and integrate MLOps practices where required.
  • Develop, provision, and manage infrastructure as code (primarily Terraform) for cloud environments.
  • Provision, manage, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters, including cloud-managed services (EKS, GKE, AKS).
  • Administer and maintain Linux-based systems and apply strong OS and networking practices to production environments.
  • Manage cloud platform resources on AWS and/or GCP, applying best practices and platform-specific optimizations.
  • Implement and maintain observability (metrics, logging, tracing, alerts) and define monitoring strategy and runbooks.
  • Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases as part of platform operations.
  • Troubleshoot incidents across application code, cloud infrastructure, networks, and operating systems and participate in (or prepare for) on-call rotations.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to elicit requirements, document solutions, structure discussions, break down complex problems, and drive actionable next steps.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant experience as a Senior DevOps/Cloud Engineer or SRE.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
  • 5+ years working with SDLC and CI/CD, with hands-on expertise in at least two different CI/CD ecosystems; experience integrating MLOps into CI/CD is a plus.
  • 3+ years of software engineering experience (backend preferred); experience with Temporal workflows is nice to have.
  • 5+ years of Linux administration experience with strong networking and operating system fundamentals.
  • 5+ years of experience with AWS (highly preferred) and/or GCP; AWS or GCP certifications are highly desired.
  • 5+ years of Infrastructure as Code experience, primarily using Terraform.
  • 5+ years managing Kubernetes clusters, including practical experience with cloud-managed services (EKS, GKE, AKS).
  • Strong experience with PostgreSQL and 5+ years working with observability tools, including defining monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot across code, cloud infrastructure, networks, and operating systems; English proficiency is mandatory; willingness to participate in future on-call support rotations.
