Description

Take full ownership of feature development from technical design through implementation, testing, and deployment across frontend and backend.
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable backend microservices and APIs.
Develop complex user-facing features and enhance single-page applications on the frontend.
Architect, build, and maintain robust and scalable RESTful APIs for the application and external integrations.
Drive technical design discussions and component architecture while upholding code quality through comprehensive unit and integration tests.
Contribute to operational excellence by setting up and configuring CI/CD pipelines and supporting deployments.
Collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineers in an agile, highly autonomous environment.
Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs across the stack.

Requirements

8+ years of professional software development experience in a full-stack capacity.
Deep backend expertise in Ruby and experience building and maintaining services outside of a large monolithic Rails application.
Strong frontend proficiency with modern component-based single-page application architectures.
Hands-on experience with application state management using Redux or Redux Toolkit (RTK).
Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable RESTful APIs and strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, including ORM and query optimization.
Required hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization, deployment, and orchestration in production.
Demonstrable commitment to automated testing, with extensive experience writing unit and integration tests across the stack.
Proven autonomy, ownership, excellent communication, and effective collaboration skills.
Nice to have: hands-on Ruby on Rails experience, familiarity with TypeScript in large-scale React applications, and experience with backend languages such as Python or Golang.
