Description

  • Serve as Paid Search Lead on one or more large accounts, owning paid search strategy and hands‑on optimizations across those accounts.
  • Present paid search strategy, performance, and tactical priorities to client stakeholders using clear storytelling and actionable recommendations.
  • Partner with cross-channel leads to build holistic media plans including forecasting, budgets, testing plans, and reporting.
  • Define roles and delegate work for client paid search teams, and manage pacing to ensure campaigns spend to target.
  • Drive paid search innovation and testing, and develop quarterly or annual roadmaps to keep advanced accounts aligned with latest trends and opportunities.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop direct reports (Account Managers to Associate Directors), deliver feedback and performance reviews, and sponsor senior client relationships.
  • Work closely with vendor partners (Google, Bing, etc.) on strategy, testing, expansion opportunities, and account health.
  • Contribute to department trainings, points of view, award submissions, case studies, and participate in new business pitches and Google ecosystem audits.
  • Generate and oversee revenue growth from client renewals and participate in onboardings, renewal calls, and key client communications.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of paid search experience.
  • Comfortable embracing automation and AI, including script adoption and using AI for reporting, insights, presentations, and workflow testing.
  • Experience managing direct Paid Search budgets of at least $1M in monthly ad spend.
  • Experience directing strategy for B2B lead generation clients (bonus for managing multiple lines of business).
  • Experience across YouTube, App Campaigns, Performance Max, Demand Gen, paid search, and shopping.
  • 3+ years of management experience with at least two direct reports.
  • Experience presenting paid search strategy to senior audiences (VP+), with strong persuasive communication and professional presence.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills and advanced slide presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with bid management platforms preferred (e.g., SA360, Skai, Marin).
  • 4‑year college degree or equivalent work experience; willingness to attend in-person meetings/events as needed and follow company RTO policy if commutable.
