Description

  • Build AEM Sites experiences using editable templates, Core Components, ClientLibs and Experience/Content Fragments.
  • Implement HTL, dialogs/policies, Sling Models, and OSGi services, contributing Java where applicable.
  • Develop high-quality React components, JavaScript/TypeScript code, CSS/Sass, and configure Webpack/Babel and npm/yarn build setups.
  • Optimize front-end performance to meet Core Web Vitals and Lighthouse benchmarks and debug network, memory, and rendering issues.
  • Implement SEO best practices including metadata, structured data, sitemaps, and robots.txt.
  • Ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards across deliverables.
  • Consume and integrate REST APIs with authentication, pagination, retries, error handling, and collaborate on API contracts and monitoring.
  • Write and maintain automated tests (Jest/React Testing Library, Cypress), participate in code reviews, and contribute to release planning and debugging cycles.
  • Collaborate closely with design, QA, content, and product teams; share expertise and guide improvements to AEM and front-end workflows.
  • (Optional) Deploy and operate workloads on AWS (S3, CloudFront, ECS/Fargate, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch) and support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure improvements.

Requirements

  • Deep expertise in AEM Sites (editable templates, Core Components, ClientLibs, HTL, Experience Fragments, Content Fragments).
  • Strong front-end engineering experience with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, Webpack, Babel, npm/yarn, and CSS/Sass.
  • Performance optimization and debugging skills covering network, memory, and rendering issues to achieve Core Web Vitals targets.
  • Proven experience implementing SEO and accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.1 AA.
  • Experience integrating REST APIs with authentication, error handling, pagination, and schema evolution.
  • Solid Git workflows, CI/CD experience, and active participation in code reviews.
  • Experience writing automated tests using Jest/React Testing Library and Cypress.
  • Strong collaboration skills in Agile teams and clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with AWS services (S3, CloudFront, ECS/Fargate, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch) and supporting CI/CD is a plus.
  • Java experience and knowledge of OSGi services is preferred.
