Description

  • Participate in client requirements-gathering sessions and document business needs.
  • Perform data mapping analysis and documentation independently.
  • Design and deliver dimensional data models for client solutions.
  • Build, maintain, and support basic data integration pipelines.
  • Implement complex data transformations using SQL, Python, and DAX.
  • Create Power BI reports, dashboards, and apps.
  • Lead working sessions with clients and respond to ad hoc client requests.
  • Communicate findings, issues, and next steps clearly to clients and stakeholders.
  • Estimate tasks, track work to completion, and manage work in Azure DevOps.
  • Review source code through peer review and validate data pipeline performance and accuracy.
  • Use bench time to improve technical skills, earn certifications, support pre-sales, and mentor others.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in data warehousing, including Azure, SQL, Synapse, Spark, or Delta Lake.
  • Experience with ETL tools and pipelines such as ADF Pipelines or SSIS.
  • Experience with Analysis Services, DAX, Power BI Pro, and Power BI Premium, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing data solutions for complex business problems.
  • Knowledge of relational databases, object-oriented design, and data structures.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Customer-focused demeanor with the ability to work directly with end-user clients and technical/business stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft ERP and CRM tools is desirable.
  • Experience with Kimball dimensional modeling and batch/incremental ETL development approaches.
  • Willingness to travel about 10% as needed.
