Description

  • Develop and structure advanced mathematics content for Years 11 and 12 across the QLD, VIC, and NSW senior curricula.
  • Ensure content aligns with curriculum standards and supports senior secondary exam preparation.
  • Review, adapt, and update existing Mathspace materials for senior secondary use.
  • Create comprehensive exam-style questions that balance procedural skills, conceptual understanding, and real-world application.
  • Craft lesson plans and supporting educational resources to complement question sets.
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain coherence and quality across learning modules.
  • For the Team Lead role, manage a team of contractors and guide curriculum alignment, coherence, and rigor.
  • For contractor roles, write, edit, and review a topic at a time with a minimum commitment of 15–20 hours per week.

Requirements

  • Proven experience teaching or developing curriculum for Years 11 and 12 mathematics.
  • Extensive knowledge of senior secondary exam formats, question types, and assessment criteria.
  • Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in a senior secondary setting.
  • Experience with exam preparation or assessment design is preferred.
  • Must be an expert in one state curriculum, with the ability to extend that knowledge to interpret standards across other states.
  • Strong collaborative and proactive work ethic with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to adhere to project timelines.
  • Background in coding or educational technology is desirable.
  • Willingness and ability to leverage AI tools to automate and improve workflows.
  • Familiarity with recent changes in senior secondary mathematics curricula and experience in remote or digital education environments are preferred.
