Description

  • Own the strategy and roadmap for Mobile and Web SDKs across iOS, Android, and Web, including scalability, performance, and usability.
  • Lead developer documentation strategy across API references, guides, onboarding experiences, and documentation systems.
  • Improve developer onboarding, API usability, and integration workflows to reduce friction and time to production.
  • Partner with Engineering on SDK lifecycle management, including releases, versioning, compatibility, performance, and security.
  • Build and improve developer tooling and environments such as sandbox, testing, and debugging capabilities.
  • Drive SDK and platform adoption by simplifying integrations and improving developer experience.
  • Enable modern payment experiences, including mobile wallet integrations such as Apple Pay and Google Pay.
  • Collaborate with Developer Relations, Documentation, Support, Solutions Engineering, Design, Security, and customers.
  • Leverage AI to improve developer workflows such as documentation generation, troubleshooting, API discovery, and code examples.
  • Define and measure developer platform success using metrics such as adoption, time-to-first-call, API error rates, and developer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • 5-8+ years of experience building products for developers, including SDKs, APIs, or developer platforms.
  • Deep technical fluency across mobile platforms, web frameworks, and API-first architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with SDK architecture, lifecycle management, and API design.
  • Proven ability to improve developer onboarding, API usability, and documentation.
  • Experience working with external developer communities and partnering with Developer Relations teams.
  • Track record of growing developer platforms using metrics such as adoption rates, time-to-first-hello-world, API error rates, and developer satisfaction.
  • Experience in fintech, payments, or infrastructure platforms is a bonus.
  • Experience with mobile wallet integrations such as Apple Pay or Google Pay is a plus.
  • Experience applying AI or automation to streamline developer workflows is preferred.
  • Nice to have: owned end-to-end developer journeys, worked with design systems tied to SDKs, driven platform standardization, used developer observability/debugging tools, supported both enterprise and self-serve developers, and improved time-to-first-call or time-to-production.
  • Ability to work remotely anywhere within Ontario, Canada.
  • Position is for an existing vacancy.
