Description

  • Manage the BIM/VDC workflow for all projects, including detailing, kitting, fabrication, and installation means and methods.
  • Supervise Modelers, BIM Technicians, and Detailers to ensure deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
  • Maintain clear communication between VC, Manufacturing, Operations, and field teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify manufacturing opportunities, value engineering solutions, and construction requirements for each project.
  • Work with the VDC Manager and VC Coordinator to establish KPIs and track budget, hours, work orders, and deliverable deadlines.
  • Develop and maintain VDC scope letters, project folders, feedback loops, and documentation for all VC deliverables.
  • Support designers by providing details, means and methods, sizing, and code compliance information for permit submittals.
  • Coordinate with Operations to procure CAD/Revit files and with manufacturing to create and set up packages in Stratus.
  • Translate design intent to the field through one-on-one installation review and ongoing support before and during construction.
  • Lead the creation and implementation of standard assemblies, products, naming conventions, and material standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial or industrial construction.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Foreman managing projects, personnel, schedules, budgets, and scopes.
  • Strong technological aptitude and willingness to learn and adapt to new software and technologies.
  • Extensive knowledge of trade-specific codes and general knowledge of building codes.
  • Proficiency in cross-referencing plans across all trades.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and Bluebeam.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to multitask while working with and supervising large teams.
  • Preferred experience with 3D design and collaboration software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
  • Preferred experience with cloud-based platforms such as Procore, Revizto, ACC, and Box.
  • Preferred experience with BIM/VDC workflows and industrialized construction or offsite manufacturing.
