Description

  • Support customers across the full lifecycle, including onboarding, adoption, expansion, retention, and advocacy.
  • Guide new customers through onboarding for MariaDB deployments and advise on best practices.
  • Establish an ongoing meeting cadence with the assigned customer portfolio.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and internal advocate for customers.
  • Identify opportunities to deliver value and improve the customer experience proactively.
  • Address customer issues early in partnership with Technical Support and act as an escalation point of contact.
  • Work with Sales Engineers and Professional Services on upgrades, migrations, deployments, and maintenance.
  • Conduct regular business reviews to review value, business goals, and priorities.
  • Encourage customer participation in company initiatives such as webinars, roadshows, and product feedback.
  • Measure, manage, and improve customer health, engagement, and value realization.
  • Coordinate with Account Executives to support customer growth and retention goals.
  • Document and track growth plans, expectations, and successes within success plans.
  • Communicate customer needs across the business and influence cross-functional teams to improve satisfaction.
  • Manage the customer portfolio in support of the company’s net retention goals.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting customers in the public sector.
  • Ability to maintain C-level relationships.
  • Ability to deliver custom ROI analysis for a customer portfolio.
  • Strong understanding of customer success principles.
  • Strong understanding of MariaDB features, architecture, and common enterprise use cases.
  • Ability to speak confidently about new MariaDB features and releases.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to understand complex business needs as they relate to MariaDB.
  • Technical acumen, intellectual curiosity, and interpersonal relationship-building skills.
  • Must represent the company in a knowledgeable and professional manner.

  • Annual U.S. base salary of $70,000-$75,000 plus a $30,000-$32,000 bonus.
