Description

  • Lead the development of personalized legal strategies for each client based on their legal circumstances.
  • Review application packets, declarations, and motions for family-based petitions, consular processing, T-Visas, SIJS, VAWA, and waivers.
  • Provide constructive feedback to paralegals and legal assistants to support accurate and timely case preparation.
  • Conduct initial client case reviews to identify legal issues and assess case needs.
  • Represent clients in Adjustment of Status (AOS) interviews before USCIS.
  • Serve as Attorney of the Day to provide legal guidance to the team and attend operational meetings.
  • Participate in consultation day events.
  • Work collaboratively with paralegals, support staff, and community partners to deliver legal services and client care.

Requirements

  • Active U.S. Bar license.
  • 2+ years of attorney experience reviewing complex immigration cases, including T-Visa, VAWA, U-Visa, and SIJS.
  • Fully bilingual English/Spanish with native or fluent proficiency.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Slack, and immigration case management systems, including Camplegal.
  • Growth-oriented, can-do attitude with a focus on continuous improvement and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Availability to work 45 to 50 hours per week.
  • Experience serving immigration clients in vulnerable positions is implied by the role context.
