Description

  • Render advice on copyright matters, including retail, open-source licensing, image compliance, and copyright-related brand protection issues.
  • Create and deploy business guidance and internal guidelines that help teams move quickly while staying compliant.
  • Provide support on copyright matters in Korea and abroad, including music licensing, advertising, AI, and cloud-related issues.
  • Proactively identify compliance gaps and support rapid remediation efforts.
  • Deliver practical IP-focused business consulting to minimize legal risks tied to company initiatives.
  • Handle brand protection, licensing, portfolio management, disputes, and rights enforcement from an IP perspective.
  • Review general contracts from an intellectual property standpoint.

Requirements

  • Domestic or foreign bilingual lawyer or patent attorney with IP experience in Korea.
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience after obtaining an attorney-at-law or patent attorney license.
  • At least 3 years of experience in copyright matters.
  • Ability to balance swift response with deep analysis.
  • Ability to provide business-friendly and practical solutions.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to diverse and fast-changing business or organizational settings.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Preferred: in-house legal experience.
  • Preferred: experience in the commerce field.
