Description

  • Draft and take client declarations for humanitarian immigration cases.
  • Prepare legal packets, including cover letters, correspondence, and forms, using templates and case details.
  • Research case information and gather supporting documents and facts.
  • Apply internal processes and workflows to case preparation tasks.
  • Communicate with clients clearly, empathetically, and professionally in both Spanish and English.
  • Work collaboratively with the legal team to support case development and packet assembly.
  • Maintain accuracy, logical organization, and attention to detail in legal drafting and document preparation.
  • Adapt to changing case requirements, workflows, and immigration regulations.

Requirements

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in humanitarian immigration cases, including VAWA, T Visa, U Visa, and family-based cases.
  • Experience taking declarations and drafting legal documents.
  • Basic knowledge of immigration legal documents, processes, and workflows.
  • Demonstrated ability to write clearly, concisely, and accurately.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and English.
  • Strong command of grammar, syntax, and legal drafting style.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong client communication skills with clarity, empathy, and professionalism.
  • Analytical thinking and ability to organize facts logically.
  • Ability to quickly learn new processes, workflows, and legal concepts.
  • Client-focused mindset with sensitivity to humanitarian cases.
