Description

  • Work closely with the legal team and Attorney Auguy in a fast-paced immigration court practice.
  • Support immigration court cases involving motions, removal proceedings, adjustment of status, and notices to appear.
  • Conduct legal research to assist case preparation and court filings.
  • Draft technical legal documents and filings with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Organize and maintain case files in a meticulous and efficient manner.
  • Communicate assertively and collaborate with the team to manage matters effectively.
  • Adapt work processes to changing immigration legislation and case requirements.
  • Uphold strict professional ethics, confidentiality, and client-centered service.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in immigration law with a strong focus on immigration court cases.
  • Experience with motions, removal proceedings, adjustment of status, and notices to appear.
  • B2-C1 proficiency in English.
  • Excellent legal research skills and technical document drafting ability.
  • Meticulous file organization and high attention to detail.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to adapt to changing legislation.
  • Assertive communication skills and a teamwork-oriented mindset.
  • Deep empathy toward the immigrant community and strict professional ethics and confidentiality.
