Description

  • Design frontend architecture and reusable UI frameworks for multiple SaaS products.
  • Modernize legacy codebases and help teams adopt better frontend patterns at scale.
  • Collaborate with Senior Engineers, Product Managers, and UX Designers on a cohesive frontend platform.
  • Lead by example by prototyping ideas, proving out new patterns, and scaling them through mentorship and evangelism.
  • Guide and challenge senior developers while providing technical leadership and mentorship.
  • Improve developer experience, scalability, performance, and consistency across the frontend ecosystem.
  • Document patterns, explain technical tradeoffs, and build trust across Engineering, Product, and UX.
  • Help shape the foundation for how Magnet Forensics’ SaaS products are built and experienced.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional frontend development experience.
  • Deep expertise in one or more major frontend frameworks such as React or Vue.
  • Strong experience with modern JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • 4+ years of experience shipping SaaS solutions to production on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience balancing technical vision with delivery.
  • Excellent mentorship and leadership skills.
  • Clear and confident communication skills, including the ability to document patterns and explain tradeoffs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Preferred experience designing extensible frontend architectures such as modular React apps, micro frontends, or plugin systems.
  • Preferred experience with tools and technologies such as MUI, Vite, Tanstack, Emotion, AWS, Docker, Grafana, and AzDO.
  • Preferred experience improving frontend developer experience through tooling, observability, feature flagging, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Preferred familiarity with design systems, accessibility, and internationalization best practices.
  • Preferred exposure to domain-driven design and frontend modularization.
  • Preferred understanding of AI systems, including LLM architectures, token generation, and MCP frameworks.
  • Preferred enthusiasm for using agentic AI and modern practices in the SDLC.
  • Candidates must reside in the United States or Canada.
