Description

  • Lead and support a multidisciplinary game development team.
  • Oversee timelines across multiple departments to ensure milestones are planned and achieved.
  • Manage project budget by assessing resource needs, tracking spend, and revising forecasts.
  • Ensure the project stays within scope.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies between schedule, budget, and design objectives.
  • Communicate project progress to company management and the client.
  • Maintain a tracked schedule and reinforce ownership, accountability, and punctuality across the team.
  • Promote effective communication, positive working relationships, and teamwork.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a production role managing cross-functional teams delivering projects.
  • Experience with production methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
  • Experience using production/project tools such as Jira, Shotgun, Excel, Project, and Confluence, or equivalent tools.
  • Excellent knowledge and daily working experience with Jira.
  • Deep understanding of game development, software development processes, and project management practices.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail at both individual and team levels.
  • Self-starter with a creative and methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • Active listener who makes decisions based on data.
  • Proactive, professional, respectful, and approachable.
  • Preferred: Experience running multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Preferred: BA degree or equivalent in management or organization.
  • Preferred: Experience shipping AA and/or AAA titles from start to finish.
  • Preferred: Experience in the service-providing industry.
