Description

  • Research, write, and publish L300/L400-level technical blogs, deep-dive articles, whitepapers, case studies, and solution briefs.
  • Translate complex cloud and data engineering concepts into structured, accurate, and engaging long-form content.
  • Develop content in multiple formats, including blog posts, technical tutorials, solution walkthroughs, comparison guides, newsletters, and video scripts.
  • Collaborate with solution architects, data engineers, and subject matter experts to validate technical accuracy and gather implementation-level insights.
  • Use AI tools to accelerate research, drafting, editing, and content ideation while improving content structure, readability, and technical depth.
  • Own SEO strategy for published content, including keyword research, search intent mapping, on-page optimization, internal linking, meta descriptions, and structured data.
  • Use SEO tools to identify content opportunities, track rankings, and optimize existing content.
  • Conduct regular content audits and refreshes to keep content current and improve ranking signals over time.
  • Collaborate with marketing to build and execute a content calendar aligned with service areas and partner priorities.
  • Repurpose long-form technical content into social-ready formats and contribute to co-branded content initiatives with AWS, Snowflake, and Databricks.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience creating technical content in the cloud, data engineering, or analytics domain.
  • Demonstrated ability to write L300/L400-level technical content on advanced topics without significant hand-holding from engineers.
  • Hands-on familiarity or working knowledge of at least two of these platforms: AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, and Azure.
  • Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals, including keyword research, on-page SEO, content architecture, backlink strategy, and performance tracking.
  • Proficiency with AI writing and productivity tools and a habit of using them to improve output quality and efficiency.
  • Excellent written English with the ability to write with precision, clarity, and technical authority.
  • Experience with a CMS platform such as HubSpot, WordPress, or an equivalent tool.
  • Strong portfolio of published technical content, ideally deep-dive blogs or whitepapers on cloud or data topics.
  • Certification in one or more of AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, or Azure is preferred.
  • Certification or coursework in Technical Writing or Content Strategy is preferred.
  • Experience writing for an AWS Partner, ISV, or cloud consultancy is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Apache Iceberg, Apache Spark, dbt, Kafka, or similar open-source data technologies is preferred.
  • Experience contributing to or ghostwriting for AWS blogs, Databricks blog, or Snowflake Medium publications is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of HTML/Markdown for CMS publishing is preferred.
