Description

  • Partner with functional leaders to identify high-value internal workflows where AI can reduce friction, cycle time, errors, or compliance risk.
  • Map current-state processes, identify bottlenecks and failure modes, and redesign processes to be automation-ready (inputs/outputs, decision points, data sources, controls, ownership).
  • Define success metrics (time saved, error reduction, throughput, adoption, auditability) and translate business goals into a build plan.
  • Design and implement internal AI agents using modern LLM patterns (tool use/function calling, retrieval-augmented generation where needed, structured outputs, and human‑in‑the‑loop checkpoints).
  • Build whole-product solutions including lightweight UX, service/API layers, integrations, data access, and automation triggers appropriate to each use case.
  • Use AI-assisted development techniques to accelerate delivery while maintaining maintainability and readability.
  • Own production reliability: monitoring, alerting, logging, incident response, and continuous improvements; create and maintain runbooks and lightweight training for adopters.
  • Establish repeatable patterns and reusable components for onboarding and scaling workflows (templates, evaluation harnesses, documentation).
  • Implement risk controls and security-by-design: data minimization, access controls, secrets management, output validation, traceability, and compliance readiness; coordinate approvals with IT/Security, Legal/Privacy, and SMEs.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain end-to-end software (design → build → deploy → operate) with strong engineering fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (examples: Python, TypeScript, C#, Node.js) and willingness to learn additional tools as needed.
  • Practical experience integrating systems via APIs, authentication, and structured data formats.
  • Experience building cloud-based services and engineering hygiene (CI/CD, source control, test automation, operational monitoring).
  • Comfort with secure and scalable platform concepts such as networking, identity, secrets management, and infrastructure automation.
  • Hands-on experience building LLM-powered tools or agents (prompting, tool use, retrieval, structured outputs, and evaluation/quality approaches).
  • Ability to design safe and predictable AI systems with validation, fallbacks, human‑in‑the‑loop checkpoints, and clear failure handling.
  • Strong ability to work with non-technical stakeholders: translate ambiguous problems into clear specs, iterate quickly, and drive adoption.
  • Preferred: familiarity with enterprise security/compliance expectations (access controls, audit trails, change management, data governance) and experience modernizing processes (Lean/ops mindset) and building internal tools that drive cross-functional adoption.
