Description

  • Lead a small engineering team as a hands-on technical leader for core product development.
  • Design, develop, and deploy core product functionality.
  • Manage, scale, and develop the engineering team.
  • Collaborate with product, data, and behavioral health specialists to deliver aligned solutions.
  • Ensure best practices are followed throughout software development and deployment.
  • Maintain high quality and security standards across engineering work.
  • Guide technical decisions, architecture, and long-term platform evolution.
  • Develop, mentor, and motivate engineers while fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture.
  • Work across cross-functional teams to align technical work with business and user needs.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of overall experience, including 2+ years of management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field.
  • Experience developing enterprise or consumer web applications.
  • Excellent communication skills across a diverse range of audiences.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Strong bias to action and results-oriented mindset.
  • Passion for Lyra’s mission and transforming mental health care.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and technologies, particularly agentic development and LLMs, preferred.
  • Experience applying AI tools to healthcare, personalization, or workflow automation, preferred.
  • Prior startup experience, preferred.
