Description

  • Manage client crises using evidence-based interventions, including brief risk assessment, safety planning, and de-escalation.
  • Provide in-the-moment phone support to clients with complex behavioral health issues.
  • Identify barriers to care and connect clients to the most appropriate treatment options using proprietary software and other methods.
  • Independently manage a caseload of complex, multi-need clients.
  • Ensure client safety while helping clients connect to treatment and high-quality providers or facilities.
  • Work exclusively by phone and email rather than providing in-person therapy or services.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in clinical social work or an equivalent field, or a Bachelor’s degree in nursing (RN).
  • Active independent clinical licensure required, such as LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LPCC, or equivalent; candidates without an independent state license will not be considered except for RN candidates.
  • 2+ years of experience in psychiatric intake, assessment, or related work.
  • 2+ years of post-licensure experience; EAP or clinical call center experience preferred.
  • Significant experience managing high-risk clinical situations, including suicidality and mandated reporting.
  • Must be physically located in the United States and able to work full time from within the U.S.
  • Must be available to work one of the specified shifts: Tuesday-Saturday 9:30am-6pm PST or Sunday-Thursday 9:30am-6pm PT.
  • Bilingual Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly preferred.
  • Comfort with adopting new technology platforms and working in a remote, virtual environment.
