Description

  • Build and operate the self-service infrastructure platform.
  • Develop and maintain the golden-path delivery layers for engineers and agents, including CI/CD, GitOps delivery, IaC modules, and service scaffolding.
  • Generalize the agent isolation pattern into reusable platform primitives such as sandboxed runtime, workload identity, audit trails, and approval gates.
  • Build and operate ephemeral validation environments and quality gates for security, performance, and load testing.
  • Improve gate speed, reliability, and machine-readable failure handling so teams and agents can act on issues directly.
  • Own observability and operational controls for the surfaces you manage, including dashboards, metrics, and cost attribution.
  • Carry on-call for platform surfaces and lead incident response from detection through follow-up.
  • Turn recurring operational toil into automation, runbooks, and reusable platform capabilities.

Requirements

  • Senior-level experience in SRE, DevOps, or Platform Engineering.
  • Experience building and operating production infrastructure at scale with end-to-end ownership.
  • Active use of AI development tools such as Claude Code or Codex in infrastructure workflows.
  • Deep experience with Kubernetes on EKS and AWS services including IAM, VPC, ECR, SSM/Secrets Manager, S3, SQS, Lambda, and RDS/Aurora.
  • Strong experience with Terraform and GitOps, including PR-driven apply workflows such as Atlantis and ArgoCD.
  • CI/CD expertise with GitHub Actions, including caching, parallelism, artifact management, test reliability, and pipeline observability.
  • Proven incident ownership and on-call experience for systems you built.
  • Excellent cross-team communication and documentation skills.
  • Bonus: Experience with workload/service identity, SPIFFE/SPIRE, OIDC, Vault, and policy enforcement.
  • Bonus: Experience building self-service developer platforms, ephemeral environments, CLIs, scaffolding tools, or internal developer portals such as Backstage.
  • Bonus: Experience with cost attribution, budgets, or rightsizing in a platform.
