Description

  • Support the Store Manager across all business areas as needed and act as second-in-command.
  • Help deliver a unique, inclusive customer experience and work with the team to exceed daily sales goals.
  • Educate customers and staff on Lush brand values, ethical sourcing, and product principles.
  • Build product knowledge and make informed product recommendations for customer needs.
  • Use metrics, budgets, and reports to help drive profitable sales performance.
  • Support and motivate staff on the sales floor, remove obstacles, answer questions, and help solve problems.
  • Coach and develop team members through feedback, leadership by example, and talent growth.
  • Support recruitment, hiring, succession planning, and staff development initiatives.
  • Help ensure compliance with company policies, opening and closing procedures, health and safety, and workplace standards.
  • Support inventory management, ordering, merchandising, scheduling, and time-and-attendance accuracy.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience managing or supervising in a retail environment.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Strong customer service, supervisory, and sales skills.
  • Knowledge of and interest in skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including holidays, evenings, and weekends.
  • Experience with consultation-based customer service models is preferred.
  • Ability to develop and train staff through positive coaching and feedback is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office, with adaptability to other systems as needed.
  • Basic HR skills in hiring, scheduling, training, and performance management are preferred.
  • Experience in cross-cultural collaboration and DEIB or social justice training is preferred.
  • Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages is preferred.
