Description

  • Build automation tools that speed up provisioning and improve the customer and team experience.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to deliver a high-quality product that meets customer needs.
  • Maintain at least 99.9% uptime across managed customer environments.
  • Automate parts of the infrastructure and expand monitoring, alerting, and internal tooling.
  • Own and improve the company-wide cloud-first customer onboarding process.
  • Create and deploy production infrastructure for customers using DevOps best practices.
  • Monitor and maintain mission-critical cloud systems at scale.
  • Serve as the first line of defense for customers during on-call rotation.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional DevOps experience at a PaaS or SaaS company.
  • 1+ years of Kubernetes experience required.
  • Knowledge of containerization and container orchestration.
  • Experience operating JVM-based applications at scale, including garbage collection analysis and heap tuning.
  • Experience managing large-scale distributed systems across hundreds to thousands of instances.
  • Familiarity with SaaS infrastructure and the SaaS deployment model.
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.
  • Acceptable background check required.
  • Experience with multiple cloud environments, including GCP, Azure, and AWS.
  • Experience with tools in the current stack such as Terraform, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Java, Python, or Go is preferred.
