Description

  • Build self-service workflows for infrastructure provisioning, service delivery, and failure recovery.
  • Improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment checks, progressive delivery, and automated rollback processes.
  • Simplify AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure while balancing reliability, security, cost, and maintainability.
  • Strengthen observability, alerting, SLOs, and capacity planning using incident and support trends.
  • Develop tooling, environments, reusable context, and access controls for agent-assisted engineering.
  • Partner with security teams to manage permissions, secrets, and controls for consequential actions.
  • Investigate performance and reliability issues across applications, containers, databases, networking, and cloud services.
  • Document decisions, coach teammates, and share platform knowledge across engineering.
  • Participate in platform on-call and incident response while reducing recurring operational interruptions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of platform engineering, DevOps, SRE, or related infrastructure experience, or equivalent demonstrated depth.
  • Deep hands-on Kubernetes experience, including configuration, secrets, deployments, scaling, and production troubleshooting.
  • Experience building and operating AWS infrastructure for production systems with meaningful traffic and availability requirements.
  • Strong infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD experience with Terraform and GitLab CI or comparable tools.
  • Experience using metrics, logs, traces, and alerting to understand system behavior.
  • Ability to write, debug, and maintain automation and tooling across application and infrastructure boundaries.
  • Demonstrated success making delivery safer, reducing operational toil, or enabling engineering self-service.
  • Clear written communication and experience leading technical work across teams without formal authority.
  • Experience with cloud security, least-privilege access, secrets management, SOC 2, or GDPR (preferred).
  • Experience with application performance tuning, PHP/Laravel, database operations, or infrastructure for AI agents (preferred).
