Description

  • Provide tier I support for IT and communications systems through the service desk.
  • Submit fully documented customer issues into a ticket management system.
  • Analyze symptoms, determine urgency, and resolve issues where possible.
  • Dispatch incidents to the appropriate Tier II support group when first-call resolution is not possible.
  • Manage incidents through their full lifecycle.
  • Handle internal and external escalations as needed.
  • Look for process improvement opportunities to improve service delivery.
  • Follow up with peers and leads to support ongoing service improvements.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a technical support role providing tier I support in a service desk or help desk environment.
  • Fluent professional French and English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical and procedural issues.
  • Ability to adapt to fluctuating customer needs and manage high-stress situations quickly and professionally.
  • Ability to establish rapport with peers and colleagues.
  • Strong customer service skills, both on and off the phone.
  • Ability and willingness to work evenings and/or weekends.
  • ITIL Incident Management understanding is preferred.
  • A+ Certification is preferred.
