Description

  • Provide reliable L2 support coverage for the Brazilian client Itau during BRT hours as the primary responsibility.
  • Investigate, reproduce, and resolve complex customer issues independently using a range of technologies.
  • Extend support to other Americas-based customers when capacity allows to avoid handover delays.
  • Communicate clearly, empathetically, and professionally with customers in written and verbal interactions.
  • Troubleshoot issues in cloud development, APIs, distributed systems, and cloud-based architectures.
  • Work with logs and debugging tools to identify root causes and validate fixes.
  • Support customers through screen-sharing sessions and live troubleshooting in English and Portuguese.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in a technical support role.
  • Experience handling complex customer issues in a production environment.
  • Strong background in API design and build.
  • Strong background in debugging distributed systems and cloud-based architectures.
  • Proficiency in at least one major programming language, preferably Python.
  • Knowledge of PowerShell, Bash, or other scripting languages is advantageous.
  • Strong expertise in AWS.
  • Experience with Docker and container networking.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or AWS CDK/SDK.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and Helm is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Azure or other cloud platforms is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Snowflake is a nice to have.
  • Proficiency with Git and GitHub, including branching and pull requests.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions or GitLab CI is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of Linux, macOS, and Windows.
  • Ability to read and analyse logs to reproduce issues.
  • Familiarity with relational and non-relational database systems.
  • Excellent written communication in English and Portuguese for ticket responses and documentation.
  • Strong verbal communication skills in English and Portuguese for live troubleshooting.
  • Comfort using AI tools such as LLMs, MCPs, and AI-assisted IDEs in a support workflow.
  • Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated output against documentation, logs, and real behaviour.
