Description

  • Manage a portfolio of customer accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding balances and reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
  • Communicate professionally with customers to resolve payment issues, disputes, and missing documentation.
  • Reconcile accounts and support payment application across high-volume invoice activity.
  • Maintain detailed records of communications and payment commitments in internal systems for audit readiness and reporting.
  • Ensure customers receive and understand invoices, statements, and remittance details to avoid payment delays.
  • Collaborate with the Collections Supervisor and Manager to escalate complex cases.
  • Provide insights on customer trends, recurring challenges, and collection risks.
  • Support strong customer relationships through clear and efficient resolution of outstanding balances.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in collections, finance, or accounts receivable.
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work in the US-Central timezone.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
  • Proficiency with Excel and Google Workspace.
  • Familiarity with account reconciliation, payment application, and dispute resolution.
  • Experience with NetSuite and/or Salesforce is a strong plus.
  • Bonus: experience in logistics, brokerage, or SaaS billing systems.
