Description

  • Own the design and implementation of critical backend components for mission-critical systems.
  • Build high-volume, low-latency applications with high availability and performance.
  • Develop reliable, scalable, and high-performance distributed services.
  • Solve complex technical problems across systems and domains and define plans to address them.
  • Debug production issues, maintain existing codebases, and help ensure platform stability.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to support mission-critical services.
  • Provide technical leadership and serve as a mentor to a small team of engineers.
  • Improve team quality through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and onboarding support.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience, preferably in a product-based IT company.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of data structures and algorithm design.
  • Deep proficiency in Node.js and Python.
  • Practical experience building applications with LLMs, RAG, and vector databases.
  • Expert-level knowledge of databases, including SQL and NoSQL systems such as Cassandra and MySQL.
  • Experience with data processing frameworks such as Kafka, Airflow, Apache Spark, and Hadoop.
  • Experience building REST APIs and debugging distributed microservice-based applications.
  • Experience with Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Git, Jenkins, and other development tools.
  • Cloud expertise in either Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
