Description

  • Own and architect high-availability NoSQL platforms and replication strategies.
  • Design and implement database provisioning platforms using Terraform.
  • Lead incident response for critical outages and define SLIs/SLOs.
  • Execute cloud migration strategies from on-premises environments to GCP.
  • Participate in 24/7 on-call rotations to support critical infrastructure.
  • Support the architectural evolution of NoSQL systems across production environments.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience building and managing large-scale production database environments.
  • Expertise in architecture and troubleshooting of Cassandra, Couchbase, or Redis.
  • Experience managing Cloud SQL on GCP.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
  • Automation and scripting experience with Python, Go, or Bash.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Experience with production reliability and platform engineering in database systems.
  • Ability to support a 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM IST schedule and 24/7 on-call rotations.
