Description

  • Run end-to-end data science initiatives from business understanding through data preparation, modeling, evaluation, and deployment.
  • Analyze and interpret model and business findings to draw actionable conclusions.
  • Develop recommendations and quantify expected benefits, including ROI, for improving business processes.
  • Support pre-sales activities at a senior consultant level.
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into technical plans.
  • Perform data processing, feature engineering, model development, and model evaluation.
  • Work on forecasting and customer analytics use cases.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to address customer problems with creative solutions.
  • Support analytical work that informs business decisions and process enhancements.

Requirements

  • Commercial experience with classical data science and machine learning models such as decision trees, ensemble tree models, and linear regression.
  • Familiarity with customer analytics concepts or advanced forecasting.
  • Experience with hyperparameter tuning and model validation frameworks.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical plans.
  • Experience with data processing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
  • Previous experience in an analytical role supporting business is a plus.
  • Fluency in Python and basic working knowledge of SQL.
  • Knowledge of relevant data science and machine learning libraries.
  • Solid experience with one cloud platform such as Databricks, GCP, or Azure.
  • Understanding of causal machine learning is a plus.
  • Experience working with big data and distributed environments is a plus.
  • Proven commercial experience in forecasting projects is a strong plus.
  • Experience with object-oriented programming in Python is a plus.
  • Experience with MLOps is a plus.
  • Familiarity with R or Scala is a plus.
  • Basic computer programming skills and familiarity with programming concepts.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Experience with deep learning, reinforcement learning, or other advanced modeling concepts is a plus.
  • Ability to come up with creative solutions to address customer problems.
