Description

  • Advise clients and project teams on data architecture design in Microsoft Azure as a senior consultant/solution advisor.
  • Lead data integration efforts and ETL processes to enable seamless data flow across systems.
  • Implement data ingestion pipelines from multiple sources using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and other ETL tools.
  • Develop scalable, reusable self-service frameworks for data ingestion and processing.
  • Design, build, and manage SQL Server databases in the Azure cloud.
  • Perform data modeling and integrate data from multiple systems and repositories.
  • Create and support Azure Data Factory pipelines and end-to-end data pipelines from source to target.
  • Advise on data governance, data quality, security, and compliance standards in cloud environments.
  • Continuously monitor and optimize data solutions for cost efficiency.
  • Mentor junior team members on cloud data architecture best practices and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • 11+ years of professional experience in Data & Analytics.
  • 5+ years of experience in a Senior Consultant role with a strong focus on Azure data solutions.
  • Advanced knowledge of architecture, application design, systems engineering, and integration.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud data services, data warehousing, big data technologies, and data lakes, especially Azure Databricks.
  • Experience with Microsoft ETL tools, including Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, and SSIS.
  • Experience with Databricks Unity Catalog, Asset Bundles, Microsoft Fabric, Logic App, and Function App.
  • Programming skills for data analysis, especially PySpark, SparkSQL, Python, and SQL.
  • Familiarity with data governance, data security, and compliance standards.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and the ability to apply DevOps and DataOps principles to data pipelines.
  • Ability to use ARM templates and work with JSON.
